Today's horoscope

MOON ALERT: We have the all-clear to make important decisions. The moon is in Scorpio.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

You might see new resources that can help you or you might see a new use for something you already own. Trust your bright ideas. Don't be discouraged if this evening, someone who is older scoffs at your resourcefulness.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Be careful talking to others today, especially partners and close friends. You might have an impulse to improve someone or make them over. Naturally, this will be off-putting to others, which is why discussions this evening are a tad grim. Hold your tongue.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

You can probably see ways to make improvements at work or on the job today. Speak up, because they might indirectly boost your income or bring positive attention to you at work. Take it easy this evening. Be patient.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

This starts out as a friendly, social day. It's good for the arts, the entertainment world, the hospitality industry and your relationship to children. Be patient this evening when duty and responsibilities make demands.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

You might see new uses for something at home or better ways of doing something. Just go forward in small steps because by the end of the day, someone older (a parent?) will be challenging. Life will be hard. Just put one foot in front of the other.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You feel strong talking to others today, especially in group situations. Do not be overly influenced by others, especially older people who might rain on your parade. Ignore criticism, especially this evening.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You feel positive at work, especially if you're earning money. Later today, you might feel anxious about cash flow. Oy! If so, you will keep this to yourself because you prefer to be private about your finances.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Continue to look for ways to expand your horizons by taking courses or getting more education. You can also do this through travel. Someone might make critical comments late in the day about your style, personality or appearance -- just ignore them.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

You might have ingenious ideas about how to approach disputes regarding inheritances, taxes, debt or anything to do with shared property. People should listen to you. However, this evening, someone may criticize you.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

On the whole, conversations with a close friend will be significant and upbeat today. However, someone older, more responsible or richer might be critical of you. You could feel squelched or diminished.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Things are positive at work today. Look for opportunities to be productive. This is also a great day to party! Accept all invitations. This evening is a poor time to ask for favours or approval from authority figures.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Today you want to play hard and work hard. Avoid controversial subjects like politics or religion this evening. Someone might criticize you. Life is challenging this evening but this is short-lived.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Curling champion Jennifer Jones (1974) shares your birthday. You are truly imaginative and creative. All of you seek to feel something in your work -- some inner truth. You're private about your own life. It's best to complete unfinished business by September. Save your money and reduce spending in the first half of the year.
