Today's Horoscope

MOON ALERT Avoid shopping or making important decisions from 9 a.m. until 11:45 p.m. today. After that the moon moves from Taurus into Gemini.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

Two different influences are at play today. On one hand, you're enthusiastic about life and ready to make big plans. However, perhaps someone in the family is alarmed or they disapprove of your ideas. It does appear that family disagreements might be tough to avoid. Just be patient.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

This is an excellent day for business and commerce. If you are aware of the moon alert above, this can also be a good day to shop. Nevertheless, squabbles with siblings, relatives and neighbours might take place. Someone wants to get the bottom of something. Hmmm.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Today the moon is in your sign, dancing with Jupiter. This promotes congenial relations with everyone, especially old friends and groups. Avoid belligerent discussions regarding money, cash flow and possessions. Don't be pushy with others and don't let others be pushy with you.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

You might have a confrontation with someone because someone wants to air their grievances. But maybe this is just a naked power play for something. This is the classic day for propaganda and indoctrination. Lighten up! Things are actually going your way.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

Conversations with a female friend are warm and friendly today. This part is fine. But privately, you are focused on a deep, inner problem that seems to mesmerize you and overtake your mind. Please know that this is temporary. (Thank goodness.) Patience!

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Be careful about going overboard to convince others to agree with you today. (Even if you are right.) Others, especially people in authority, will notice you today; so why not make a good impression while you are in the limelight? Ya think? I think.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Power struggles with others might take place today because one party thinks they know best. Or perhaps one party is trying to make over the other one? Not good. It's easy to fixate on an idea today -- like a dog with a bone. Meanwhile, travel and publishing opportunities look good.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Avoid controversial subjects like politics, religion and racial issues today because the conversation will be too heated. One person will try to convince the other one; and it will turn into a propaganda session. Meanwhile, gifts, advantages and money from others might come your way. Yes!

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

You can benefit from the wealth and resources of others now. Don't second guess things -- just accept what is offered. It doesn't mean that there are strings attached. Relations with partners and close friends are friendly today. Avoid arguments about shared property.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Do not get entangled with disputes with others about how to improve something. Similarly, avoid encounters with others who want to convince you of something. Instead, enjoy positive exchanges with co-workers. You feel healthy, upbeat and optimistic!

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

This is a fun-loving day! Take a long lunch or do something special as a little treat for yourself. Avoid overbearing people at work because they will come on like gangbusters and be dreadful to deal with. (Make sure you are not overbearing as well.)

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

This is a pleasant day at home, especially talking to female family members. However, difficulties with kids -- especially power struggles -- might take place. People feel righteous in their own point of view today, which is why this is a poor day to have a serious discussion. It's all emotion and no logic.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Actor Robin Williams (1951) shares your birthday today. You are daring and physical in your approach to life. This is because you want life to be exciting. You love to perform or appear in public to share your views. Good news! This might be one of the most powerful years of your life. It is a time of accumulation and a good year to buy and sell. It's a time of fruition in business and finances.
