MOON ALERT Only until 12:30 p.m. today, do we have the all clear to do business and make important decisions. The moon is in Scorpio.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

This is a curious day because in the early, early morning, life is hard. Dare we day grim? (We did.) Yet by midday, you're laughing. In fact, gifts, goodies and favours from others will come your way. (Possibly even cold, hard cash and/or sexual favours.) An interesting day.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Relations with partners and close friends might be difficult the early morning. Not to worry because by midday, things are smooth and friendly. In fact, it will be a good day for making close relationships closer, and distant relationships more committed.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

In the early hours of the morning, you're discouraged about your health or your job. Possibly someone older or more experienced is critical of you. Don't let this get you down because by midday, things turn completely around. In fact, co-workers will be helpful!

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Romance is touch and go in the early hours of the morning; plus your responsibilities with children are demanding. But this is temporary. By midday, everything changes. Romance becomes sunny and relations with children are upbeat and warm.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

An older family member might create obstacles for you today in the early morning. Fortunately, this is temporary. Later in the day, relations with family members are warm. You'll enjoy entertaining at home or relaxing and familiar surroundings.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You might wake up early this morning feeling worried. Don't let this get you down because by midday, you will feel completely different. In fact, it will be a good day for writers and those who sell, act, teach or promote. Interactions with everyone will be warm and friendly!

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

In the early morning hours, if you're awake, you might feel dejected about your finances. "Woe is me! I'm broke." However, by midday, these feelings are gone and you look forward to opportunities to boost your income. Suddenly, bosses and people in authority are on your side. Who knew?

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

If you are awake early this morning, you might feel dejected. (Tough way to start your day.) Nevertheless, by midday, you feel happy and relaxed because you're enjoying good times with others. (Fast turnaround!) Make plans for a friendly lunch with coworkers or friends.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

This morning you will be successful in your efforts to research or dig up answers that youve been looking for. But later in the day, you want to kick back and relax. Some will explore a secret relationship or clandestine love affair.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Someone older or in a position of authority might block your efforts to do something in the early hours of today. After that, it's smooth sailing. Relations with partners and members of the general public will be friendly and easy-going today. Nice day to shmooz!

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Permission or approval for anything will not come your way in the early hours of today. Just make a note of this. That's because your dealings with authority figures will be difficult. But this is brief! By midday, things are actually cosy with people in power; in fact, so cozy, romance will begin for some.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Travel plans look difficult early in the morning. However, if you wait until midday, things will look different. From then on, you will enjoy excursions, short trips and interactions with people from different cultures. Publishing, the media, medicine and the law look good.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Actor Richard Belzer (1944) shares your birthday today. You are quick and clever and fast to learn. Because of this, you are often a guiding light to others. Your physical presence is palpable and reassuring to others at times. You are strong-minded and strong-willed. This year your association with others will benefit you. Interact with others and help them because you will only be helping yourself.
