Today's Horoscope

MOON ALERT After 4:45 a.m. we have the all clear to do business and make important decisions. The new moon in Virgo peaks at 9:13 a.m.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

This is a poor day to ask people for money, or to repay a loan, or get money from a bank or the government because you will meet with obstacles. Just take a step back and wait a day or two. This is not the day to expect things from others.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Things are not easy with partners and close friends. You might feel angry at someone, and yet, you can't speak up. Naturally, this leaves you seething in silence. Don't worry. Bide your time. In fact, timing is everything. (As you well know, because Taurus always chooses the time to speak.)

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

This is a tough day at work because whatever you try seems to be blocked. In particular, if you delegate to others, you will encounter difficulties. And of course, this is frustrating! Be comforted by the fact that we are all frustrated today in different ways.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Every parent knows that sometimes you have to lay down the law with your kids. But today is not the day. It will be too difficult. Sometimes patience and forbearance is the wisest course. Save what you want to say until tomorrow. Similarly, romantic relationships are difficult. Whatchyagonna do?

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

Every family has difficulties. It goes with the territory. Today you feel annoyed with someone, especially someone older. Try to be tolerant and hold your tongue because sour words will lead to an argument. Instead, use today's energy to get physical work done.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Criticisms from you or criticisms against you will make today difficult. And no doubt, you're worried about something. This is just one of those days when things are tough. Demonstrate grace under pressure. Zip thy lip.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You are concerned about cash flow, earnings and financial matters. You feel squeezed and broke. Money problems prohibit you from doing what you want to do. Well, join the club, we number millions. This is a temporary setback and that's all.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

You might feel angry with someone today or frustrated. It's as if someone is going out of their way to irritate you. Unfortunately, you are muzzled and cannot speak freely. Instead, transfer this energy into physical work. (If you work with metals, you will feel relieved.)

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Life is difficult because someone behind the scenes is working against your best interests. You might know who they are, or you might not. Either way, you feel blocked. Be encouraged by the prospect of future travels that will please you.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

It will be tough to get the co-operation of someone, especially someone in a group. Whatever you suggest will be shot down. This person could be older and more established. They are critical and not supportive of what you want to do. Your hands are tied. Aaaggh!

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

This is a poor day to ask authority figures for permission or approval because they will veto your ideas. Naturally, this is discouraging or worse. Knowing this ahead of time, bide your time and wait for another day. You have to know when to hold and when to fold.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Travel plans or something to do with higher education or legal matters and medicine will be frustrating. It's hard to push through what you had hoped to achieve. Someone or something is blocking your way. Tomorrow will be easier.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Actress Blake Lively (1987) shares your birthday. You are intensely physical. Many of you work to stay healthy (but some don't). You have an active, intelligent mind and your sexual energy is flamboyant! You let others know when you want something, sometimes dramatically. This is a year of growth and of building. Do not make major changes yet -- wait until next year. Strengthen your financial position.
