MOON ALERT We have the all clear to do business (whether $10 or $10 million) and make important decisions. The moon is in Cancer.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

Love at first sight or new thrilling flirtations might make your day. If this happens, this might be just a passing fancy. (Really get to know this person first.) Expect spontaneous invitations to social events. Parents should keep an eye on their kids because this could be an accident-prone day for them.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

You might spy unusual pieces of art or something modern that you want for your home. Unexpected guests might pop by and an impromptu party takes place. Anything can happen! Surprising events related to real estate might also occur. It's an exciting day.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

You will likely meet new people who are interesting or "different." You might have an unexpected invitation to do something. Your routine will vary, perhaps with spontaneous short trips, meeting characters and discovering something new and unusual. You will have to stay off your heels.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

You might discover new ways of earning money, especially related to technology, aviation or the radio. Spontaneous purchases of modern items or high-tech toys are also likely. However, your cash flow is unpredictable, so be sharp. Keep your receipts and count your change.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

Do something different because you will be bored with your daily routine. You want stimulation and a change of pace. Be careful about stirring up trouble with someone just to entertain yourself. (You know who you are.) Seek out excitement in positive ways.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You might feel restless because you want a little action. You want to meet unusual people or do something different or have a little fun -- something entirely fresh and new. Actually, you might have a personal epiphany about something. "Eureka!"

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

A friend will surprise you or, in turn, you might meet a new acquaintance who is different and unusual. Or you might find yourself swept up with a group that has an unusual agenda. It's almost a guarantee stimulating, interesting people will come into your life.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Someone in a position of authority (parents, teachers, bosses or VIPs) might do something that surprises you. Hopefully, it's positive. Whatever the case, don't quit your day job because this is a fleeting, unexpected surprise. You might get promoted or develop a crush on your boss.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Sudden opportunities to travel might fall in your lap. Similarly, bonuses could relate to publishing, the media, medicine, the law and anything to do with higher education. For example, you might decide to take a course. Romance with someone from a different background might also spark.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Unexpected gifts, goodies and favours might come your way so be receptive to this. Don't worry about attached strings -- it looks like this is intended for you. Accept! Even surprise sexual invitations might come your way. Hmmm.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Partners and close friends are unpredictable. Expect a few surprises. Someone might extend an unexpected invitation that sounds like fun or they might want to change the parameters of the relationship (and you're not sure if that sounds like fun). Stay flexible.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Romantic flirtations at work might surprise you. Others might get an unexpected job offer or encounter new technology that is job-related. Possibly, something health related will surprise you, hopefully, in a good way. People you meet will be interesting, but probably in your life for only a short while.

Beatles drummer Ringo Starr (Richard Starkey, 1940), shares your birthday. You are creative and delight in discovery -- and especially sharing your discovery with others. You seek the truth even if it means you must reveal secrets or be a whistleblower. You have high standards for yourself and others and you are always truthful. Your focus in the coming year will be primarily on close friendships or partnerships. Enjoy.
