Bethenny's show biting the dust

  • Print

Bye-bye, Bethenny.

Reality star and Skinnygirl entrepreneur Bethenny Frankel gave her daytime show a valiant effort -- but it wasn't enough. Telepictures confirms that Bethenny, executive produced by Ellen DeGeneres, will not be back for a second season.

"I had a blast doing this show," Frankel said in a statement. "My entire staff worked so hard and made every day so much fun. I am thankful for the experience and for all my fans who tuned in every day."

The ratings just weren't there. In season-to-date numbers, Bethenny has averaged 1.1 million viewers.

Katie Couric's show, Katie, which is also ending, averaged 2.3 million and The Ellen DeGeneres Show 3.9 million.
