Start your festive flipping with our guide to these holly jolly seasonal specials

  • Print

The old festive ditty says that It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas, but the fact of the matter is that this is Winnipeg, so it actually started looking like Christmas a couple of weeks ago when the already-overdue first dump of shovelable snow arrived. In terms of outdoor yuletide atmosphere, we've got it (literally) covered.

Indoors, on the ol' teevee set, the atmosphere has become rather seasonally specific, as well, with more than enough holiday programming to keep your spirits brightened right through till Dec. 25. And in what has become something of a tradition in these pages, we're offering up our handy (though, given the volume of yule-TV fare these days, hardly definitive) clip-and-save guide to what's on the tube this Christmas season. Please check up-to-date listings for airtimes.

And then... grab the scissors, free up a few fridge magnets, uncap the highlighter... and start your festive flipping!
