Dolly (and the girls) spit out some rhymes

  • Print

IT'S hey-who'd-a-thunk-they-could-rap week in Hollywood.

Days after Sandra Bullock demonstrated her riotous rendition of Rapper's Delight on British TV, Dolly Parton took to the stage of The Queen Latifah Show to belt out some far less famous rhymes -- about her Joyful Noise co-star, herself, and her, ahem... assets.

Wearing a blond afro and copious bling, the 67-year-old, always game to pop her over-the-top image, bopped up and down to some seriously silly beats.

"Oh, she the queen of her own hood," Parton chanted toward the rap pioneer-turned-talk show host. "But I'm the queen of Dollywood. I own my territory. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!" Whereby Parton mimed holding a joint.

But it was the Nashville darling's DDs (or so) that got the most word play.

"Now, I don't hip and I don't hop. I black both eyes with this big top. I know the queen has got 'em, too. But she don't work 'em like I do. Look (at) 'em go!"

But what scored the biggest audience laughs? Parton's attempt to one up the twerker herself.

"Hey Miley! I got your wrecking balls right here."

The episode aired Monday.
