Extras are being sought for the The Pinkertons, a 22-episode TV series about the famed 19th-century detective agency commencing shooting Aug. 25 to March 2015 in Grosse Isle.
Winnipeg casting agency Kari Casting has put out the call for "Caucasian extras, both male and female, ages 18-70, to fill background roles as townsfolk, saloon barmaids, saloon patrons, union soldiers, coal workers, police, and many more," according to a press release.
"Of particular interest are extras with unique character faces such as: men with full beards/facial hair, scruffy, wind-burnt, weathered faces and missing teeth/tooth."
Female extras should have medium-length or long hair.
It is a paying gig at $11.75 per hour, plus overtime after 8 hours.
Extras must have their own transportation to get to and from set in Grosse Isle, a rural community 33 kilometres northwest of Winnipeg.
