Manitoba actor joins Big Love cast

BIG Love is getting some Beach time.

The unusual HBO drama about a polygamist family's travails on the fringes of Mormon society will count Manitoba-born actor Adam Beach among its cast when its fourth season premieres on Jan. 10 (10 p.m., HBO Canada).

Beach will portray Tommy Flute, the son of protagonist Bill Henrickson's (Bill Paxton) Native American partner in a Mormon-friendly casino development project.

Big Love also stars Jeanne Tripplehorn, Chloë Sevigny and Ginnifer Goodwin as Henrickson's three wives, Barb, Nikki and Margene. Sissy Spacek has also signed on for an extended guest-star run in the series' fourth season, playing a Washington lobbyist who may be able to help Bill advance his business ambitions.
