OK, like... good day, eh? Hosers back on TV, OK?

BEER, igloos, hockey, eh, and all Canadian stereotypes we love to hate are making a comeback with cult favourites, Bob & Doug -- in cartoon form.

The new half-hour Global series features the voices of Dave Thomas (the original Doug and series creator) and Dave Coulier (Full House) as the animated hosers in the fictional Canadian town of Maple Lake. As well, a number of Canadian comedians will be lending their talent such as Jayne Eastwood, Pat McKenna, and Derek McGrath,.

The original Bob, Rick Moranis, will take part as an executive producer, alongside Thomas.

"As a project close to my own heart, the return of Bob & Doug has been an incredibly exciting process, one that couldn't have been made possible were it not for Canwest and their unwavering support," Thomas said in a statement.

Bob & Doug will premiere Sunday, April 19 at 6:30 p.m. on Global. Full episodes will also be available online at GlobalTV.com.
