Widow Norma Bates and her teenage son Norman try to make a fresh start by buying a motel in an idyllic coastal town in this première. The original drama series serves as a modern-day prequel to the legendary Hitchcock film Psycho. A&E, 9 p.m.

The Biggest Loser

This season's contestants weigh in one last time to show how much weight they've lost in this season finale. The previously eliminated players compete for a $100,000 "at home" prize before this season's winner is finally revealed. NBC, 7 p.m.
