The Magic Hockey Skates

When Christmas elf Wayne is overlooked for a promotion, he's paired up with a bumbling rookie named Lanny in this clever, computer-animated special. A frustrated Wayne allows Lanny to single-handedly prep a home for Santa's arrival, with disastrous results. ABC, 7 p.m.

The Sing-Off

Travel back in time as seven a capella groups perform some hits from the past in this new episode. They compete to impress the judges with their renditions of songs that span generations. Nick Lachey hosts this singing competition series. NBC, 9 p.m.
