The I Love Lucy Christmas Special

Mr. Magoo stars in this 1962 animated special. Set among the bright lights of Broadway, the story follows Magoo as he's cast in a musical adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol. As Scrooge, he learns the true meaning of Christmas. Global, 7 p.m.

It's a Wonderful Life

This 1946 classic tops many viewers' seasonal must-see lists. James Stewart stars as a beleaguered small-town banker who wishes he'd never been born, until an angel named Clarence shows him what the world would be like without him. NBC, 7 p.m.
