Figure Skating

The 2014 Canadian Tire National Skating Championships will decide which figure skaters will represent Canada at the Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Among the skaters to watch are three-time world men's champion Patrick Chan and Olympic champion ice dancers Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir. TSN, 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.

 

Hockey Night in Canada

The Winnipeg Jets, who have been as cold as the Manitoba weather of late, host the Columbus Blue Jackets at the MTS Centre. The late game has Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins in Calgary to battle the Flames. CBC, 6 p.m.

Laura Vandervoort stars as Elena Michaels, the world's only female werewolf, in this new sci-fi series. In this premiere, the body of a mauled girl is discovered, igniting a war between Elena's Pack and a group of rogues known as Mutts. Space, 8 p.m.

 

Untold Stories of the E.R.

Fascinating real-life tales come to light in this episode. ER doctors share the details of some of their most puzzling and unusual cases in this popular series, which takes viewers inside the emergency room like never before. TLC, 8 p.m.
