One of the hockey's greatest players returns to the ice to play professional hockey with his two sons in this TV movie, which was shot in Winnipeg. Set in the 1970s, the film stars Michael Shanks as Gordie Howe and Kathleen Robertson as his late wife Colleen. CBC, 8 p.m.

America's Funniest Home Videos

Tom Bergeron presents a salute to the military in this special edition. In one clip, a soldier surprises his girlfriend at a baseball game when he pops the question. Another video captures a Marine who has an unconventional method for cutting cake. ABC/Citytv, 6 p.m.
