Blake Shelton's Not So Family Christmas

Monday, Dec. 3 at 9 p.m., NBC

It's amazing what a seat on a reality/competition show judging panel will do for your TV profile. Consider Blake Shelton, an award-winning country artist whose spot on NBC's The Voice has landed him his first-ever network special, just in time for the holiday season. Shelton shares the spotlight with Kelly Clarkson, Miranda Lambert and Reba McEntire, and sings a duet with his mom, Dorothy Shackleford.

Dragons' Den Holiday Special

Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 8 p.m., CBC

As hard as it is to imagine Dragon dude Kevin O'Leary as anything but an entrepreneurial Scrooge, he and his fellow investors give a long, hard look at some pitches with seasonal themes. Included in this special episode are a redesigned holiday classic, a game creator looking to cash in on the shopping frenzy, and a toy maker with a new idea for action figures.
