TV legend Bob Newhart guest stars in this new episode, playing Professor Proton, the host of Sheldon's favourite TV show when he was a kid. When he learns his hero is still making public appearances, Sheldon convinces Leonard that they should hire him to perform at a party. CBS/CTV, 7 p.m.
Saturday, May 4 at 3 p.m., NBC
Three-year-old thoroughbreds take to the track at Churchill Downs to compete in this year's Kentucky Derby. Widely known as "The Run for the Roses," the highly anticipated event kicks off the race for U.S. horse racing's Triple Crown.
The Amazing Race
Sunday, May 5 at 7 p.m., CBS and CTV
The two-hour season finale follows the remaining contestants as the race's second-last leg lands them in Belfast, Ireland, where they're required to try an icky pastime known as bog snorkelling. After one team is eliminated, the rest make a final sprint to Washington, D.C., where clues are hidden near historic monuments.
