The day the music died has been put off for a couple more days.
Buddy — The Buddy Holly Story, Rainbow Stage’s first musical of the summer, has been held over for two more performances, Friday, July 5 and Saturday, July 6.
The musical, which tells the dramatic rise of Buddy Holly till his death in a plane crash in Clear Lake, Iowa in 1959, opened June 11 and was scheduled to close July 4.
Tickets for the additional shows, which sell for $59.50 including fees and taxes, are available by phone at 204-989-0888 or 1-800-989-0888 or at Rainbow Stage’s office at 180 Market Ave.
Web sales for the additional performances will go on sale on June 25 at www.rainbowstage.ca. Web sales for originally scheduled performances are also still available at the Rainbow Stage website.
