Kids in the Hall star at News Café today

During this year’s edition of the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, the Free Press once again invited some of the fest’s top performers to its News Café for a series of noon-hour conversations about what makes funny folks so funny.

Entertainment writer Brad Oswald wrapped up the series today at 12 p.m. with an interview with Kevin McDonald, known for his work on The Kids in the Hall. Co-star Scott Thompson, originally slated to take part, was be unable to attend.

Earlier this week Oswald spoke with "man of 1,000 sound effects" Michael Winslow, known for his work in the Police Academy movies, and with CBC's The Debaters host Steve Patterson.
