Comedian Pinette makes up postponed show on Oct. 19
John Pinette’s bronchitis should be should be gone by the fall, so the standup comedian will make up his postponed shows then.
Pinette cancelled his Canadian tour — which would have stopped at the Burton Cummings Theatre Saturday — due to a severe case of bronchitis and exhaustion. He has rescheduled the tour and will perform at the same Winnipeg venue, Oct. 19.
Ticket holders can use their May 5 tickets for the new date, or get refunds at point of purchase.

Chicago noisemakers Russian Circles are getting around to Winnipeg.
The instrumental post-rock trio will play the Park Theatre on June 18 in support of its fourth album, Empros. Tickets for the show go on sale Friday at Ticketmaster for $21.50.
