Electropop artist Lights hitting the Garrick on May 7

Juno Award-winning electropop artist Lights has announced a Winnipeg stop on her spring Canadian tour.

The Toronto singer-songwriter will play the Garrick Centre on Tuesday, May 7. Tickets are $32.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 8 through Livenation.com and Ticketmaster.

Lights will be previewing her new Siberia Acoustic project, which features 10 unplugged versions of tracks from her 2011 release. Guests will include Owl City, Max Kerman of Arkells and Coeur de pirate.

The next night, May 8, American pscyhedelic rockers MGMT will play the Burton Cumming Theatre.

Tickets are $25 and $39.50 and also go on sale March 8.
