Country star Paul Brandt is bringing his cross-Canada Just As I Am tour to Winnipeg on May 27.

The Calgary singer and former pediatric nurse will perform at Calvary Temple (440 Hargrave St.) at 7 p.m. Tickets are $36.10 and available on www.paulbrandt.com or www.itickets.com.

All net proceeds from the tour will support community projects in the cities on Brandt’s tour, as well as an overseas development project in Haiti, part of his Build It Forward Foundation.

Brandt also recently launched the I Am Haiti Bound contest where one fan will win the chance to join him on a community development trip to that country later in 2013. All fans attending Just As I Am concerts will be eligible to enter via Brandt’s Facebook page. The contest runs May 1 to June 30.

The concert tour, which ends June 7, will include songs from Just As I Am, as well as many of the artist’s greatest hits, in a "unique, intimate environment," according to a release.
