Pink Floyd Experience offers flying pig, rare songs
Pink Floyd: The Reasonable Facsimile doesn’t sound that impressive, so instead prepare for The Pink Floyd Experience, a multimedia tribute show booked to make its Winnipeg debut at the RBC Theatre at the MTS Centre on Monday, March 4, 2013.
The concert comes complete with a psychedelic light show and, according to the announcement, "a full-on sensory assault — interpretive videos, plane crashes, flying pig, helicopter."
Subtitled Greatest Hits and Rarities, the show will be performed by six musicians performing songs including Money, Wish You Were Here and Comfortably Numb, in addition to unnamed "rarities not often heard live."
Tickets, $29.50 to $49.50, go on sale at Ticketmaster on Friday, Nov. 23, at 10 a.m. at 1-855-985-5000 or online at www.ticketmaster.ca.
