Bobby Slayton, ‘Pitbull of comedy’, replay at the News Café

One of standup comedy’s most enduring performers stopped by the Winnipeg Free Press News Café to talk about the business of being funny.

Bobby Slayton, a 30-year showbiz veteran who’s known in standup circles as "the pitbull of comedy," is appearing Thursday through Saturday at Rumor’s Comedy Club and was at the News Café today for a sit-down interview with Free Press entertainment writer Brad Oswald.

Slayton discussed the issue of comedians stealing jokes, and how he ended up with the nickname "the pitbull of comedy".
