Rihanna's trucks have arrived.
MTS Centre officials have confirmed the trucks containing the singer's stage have arrived at the venue and setup is underway for tonight's concert, which will start an hour later than the posted time with doors now opening at 7:30 p.m. and first act A$AP Rocky scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m.
Earlier in the day the pop star sent out three tweets between noon and 2 p.m. about her trucks being held up at the border.
My bus and I are at the venue! Still no trucks!!! #tourlife #WINNIPEG
They held my trucks at the border!!! This is not a good look for Winnipeg! My stage is in those trucks, disassembled! #DiamondsWorldTour
This means, the entire production could potentially start at a later time #staytuned #WINNIPEG #tourlife #DiamondsWorldTour
Fans started the hashtag #FreeRihannaStage in support of the singer, known for hits such as Umbrella and We Found Love.
Some fans wondered if the delay at the border was a result of a small amount of marijuana being found on one of her tour buses last week.
TMZ.com reported that Rihanna's tour buses were searched at the Ambassador Bridge between Windsor, Ont. and Detroit. A sniffer dog was brought on board and a small amount of marijuana was found on one passenger. Rihanna wasn't on the bus where the drugs were discovered.
