Ron James forced to cancel News Café chat

It's hardly a laughing matter — Ron James will not be visiting the Winnipeg Free Press News Cafe on Friday afternoon as previously reported.

The popular Canadian comedian, who is currently on tour across Western Canada, was scheduled to sit down with Free Press entertainment writer Brad Oswald at 2:30 p.m. Friday to talk about comedy, touring and life in Canadian showbiz, but a mixup in travel schedules has forced him to cancel his cafe chat.

James will perform at the Pantages Playhouse Theatre on Saturday night.
