Winnipeg Comedy Showcase to feature 6 local funnybones

Six Manitoba comedians will take over the Park Theatre stage on Jan. 24 for the Winnipeg Comedy Showcase.

Paul Rabliauskas, Chantel Marostica, Matt Nightingale, Ben Walker, Jordan Welwood and Andy Noble will perform:

  • Rabliauskas is dubbed "Manitoba’s fastest rising comic;"
  • Marostica is the 2013 winner of the funniest Winnipegger with a day job contest;
  • Nightingale was featured in the 2013 doc Sign Up and Stand Up;
  • Walker does regular guest spots at Rumor’s Comedy Club and was the 2012 winner of the funniest Winnipegger with a day job contest;
  • Welwood was a finalist in the Canada’s Next Top Comic contest at September’s Just For Laughs 42 in Toronto; and
  • Noble was the winner of December’s Do or Die Comedy Death Match in Winnipeg.

Jared Story, a regular guest comic at Rumor’s, will be the host.

Tickets are $10 and are available at the Park Theatre, Music Trader and ticketbreak.com.
