Three Winnipeg funnymen will go head-to-head with 18 other contestants from across the country bidding to become SiriusXM’s Next Top Comic.

The local trio of Ben Walker, Scott Porteous and Jordan Welwood are semifinalists and will participate in the voting round.

Canadians are now invited to visit www.siriusxm.ca/nexttopcomic to watch each contestants’s live audition and vote for their favourite from their city. The top vote-getters from the seven cities and one wildcard will get to perform live at the Just For Laughs JFL42 Festival in Toronto in September.

The winner in the fourth annual competition will take home $15,000.
