Women’s Musical Club increases scholarships

The Women’s Musical Club of Winnipeg (WMC) has increased its 2013 scholarship fund by 25 per cent.

This year, the 118-year-old arts organization will award a total of $10,000 to the five winners of its annual scholarship competition, compared with the $8,000 that has been handed out for the past several years.

The 2013 competition will be held in the Eva Clare Hall at the University of Manitoba on Saturday, May 11. Application forms are available on the WMC website: www.womensmusicalclubofwpg.org.
