André Rieu concert on Silver City screen

RENOWNED Dutch violinist and conductor André Rieu plays a lavish concert annually in his Dutch hometown of Maastricht, and Canadians will get a chance to see the landmark 25th edition from the comfort of their cinema seats.

Rieu's 25th Anniversary Hometown Concert will screen at Silver City Polo Park Wednesday, July 25, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, July 28, at 12:45 p.m.

Rieu, one of the world's most successful touring artists, described the event as "a magical and special evening, celebrating 25 years of performing with my fantastic Johann Strauss Orchestra."

Tickets are $16.96, $15.95 for seniors and $9.95 for children 13 years of age and under, and are available at the Silver City box office, through the Cineplex Mobile Apps and online at cineplex.com/events.
