Children's fest offers earlybird school tickets

THE Winnipeg International Children's Festival, slated to run June 6-9, is now selling earlybird tickets to Manitoba schools and daycares.

The discount school ticket program provides schools and daycares with a 45 per cent reduction off the gate price. From now until April 1, educators can order tickets for just $9 each (regular gate price is $16).

The Kidsfest features children's entertainers from around the world, including Washington D.C.'s Step Afrika! The full lineup will be announced in May.
