  • Print

Earlybird tickets for the 2014-15 Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra season, which will give subscribers a 45 per cent discount on regularly priced subscriptions, are available until May 15.

Incorrect information appeared in Saturday's Free Press.

The new season begins Sept. 26 and 27 with Dvorak: A New World, with pianist Natasha Paremski and the University of Manitoba Singers performing with the WSO.

It also includes Nordic Festival appearances by violinist Sigrun Edvaldsdottir and pianist Vikingur Olafsson, a three-night musical collaboration with Guess Who and BTO founder Randy Bachman on Dec. 5-7, a performance by Arditti Quartet during the New Music Festival in January 2015 and Canadian violinist Nikki Chooi a month later.

Tickets for the new season, as well as for other upcoming WSO shows, can be purchased through the symphony's newly redesigned website, wso.ca, or by calling the WSO box office at 204-949-3999.
