EDDIE Izzard, one of the most successful stand-up comedians Britain has ever produced, will perform at the Burton Cummings Theatre Nov. 26 as a part of his late 2013 Force Majeure tour of Canada.
The Yemeni-born Izzard is in the midst of one of the most extensive comedy tours ever, going from Cardiff to Kathmandu, Moscow to Mumbai and, during almost three weeks starting Nov. 10, will play Halifax to Vancouver. While on the road he has entertained in French in France and is working on his German and intends to broaden his audience to speakers of Spanish, Russian and Arabic.
Tickets go on sale starting at 10 a.m. Aug. 16 for $59.75 and $70.25 at all Ticketmaster locations.
