Mötley Crüe hits MTS on extensive Canadian tour

LOS Angeles rockers Mtley Crüe will return to the MTS Centre Tuesday, May 7 as part of its most extensive Canadian tour ever, it was announced Monday.

The quartet of Vince Neil, Mick Mars, Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee will visit 18 cites during a 24-day jaunt across the country starting April 20 in Pentiction, B.C. The Winnipeg date at 7:30 p.m. will be preceded by one the night before at the Keystone Centre in Brandon.

Mtley Crüe has sold more than 80 million albums over the last 30 years.

Tickets range in price from $20-$115 and are available at all Ticketmaster outlets. They go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. Special guest is Canada's Big Wreck.

Also announced Monday is that R5 will be in concert at the Garrick Theatre on Friday, May 10.

The American pop-rock band, featuring Riker, Rydel, Rocky, and Ross Lynch, along with best friend Ellington Ratliff, are on tour to promote its new EP Loud. Tickets are $25 and also go on sale Friday at 10 p.m. at all Ticketmaster outlets.
