Stuart McLean brings Christmas tour to Concert Hall

STUART McLean will host his show Vinyl Cafe at the Centennial Concert Hall Nov. 25 as part of a cross-Canada Christmas tour.

The popular CBC Radio raconteur will feature new Dave & Morley stories and live music from the Juno Award-winning trio the Good Lovelies. Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show range in price from $58.50-$65.20 and are available at all Ticketmaster outlets.

The tour, which kicks off in Belleville, Ont., Nov. 19, and wraps up Christmas Eve in Montreal, coincides with the release of McLean's new short story collection, Time Now For The Vinyl Cafe Story Exchange, his 11th book. The first 10 have have sold over one million copies in Canada.

Stuart will also release a new CD collection, New Stories. The four-CD package is a collection of 14 Dave and Morley stories never before released on CD. One of Stuart's albums, Coast to Coast Story Service, has gone gold in Canada.
