WAG dishes up food inspired by fairy tales
THE Winnipeg Art Gallery won't be serving poison apples or bowls of porridge that are too hot or too cold, but it is offering a dinner inspired by its big summer exhibition, Fairy Tales, Monsters and the Genetic Imagination.
The Art Eats event will be held on July 19 and Aug. 16 from 6 to 9 p.m.
The ticket includes a three-course dinner at the gallery's Storm Bistro, with outdoor dining on the rooftop, weather permitting. Then there's a guided tour of the Fairy Tales show.
Art Eats has sold out every time it has been offered, so act fast to make reservations.
Tickets are $35 (WAG members $30) at 789-0516 or awiebe@wag.ca. The fixed menu will be posted ahead of time at wag.ca.
