We are not making this up... but he most certainly will be.

Improv-comedy master Colin Mochrie is dropping by the Winnipeg Free Press News Café today at 1 p.m. for an extremely unrehearsed chat about life, humour, Canadian showbiz and how it came to be that a guy who makes up funny stuff for a living actually sat down long enough to write a book.

Mochrie, who was recently named this nation’s comedy person of the year at the Canadian Comedy Awards, is on a cross-country tour promoting Not QUITE the Classics, a collection of short stories in which the newly-minted author took the first and last lines of famous literary works and then made up all the amusing bits inbetween.

Join Mochrie and Free Press entertainment writer Brad Oswald at the News Café for this in-person interview, or watch it as the event is streamed live here.
