"I’m usually reading several books at one time: business books, a biography, something that will build a new skill, a novel, and whatever else happens to pique my interest.
"The book that’s currently capturing my attention is Thinking Fast and Slow by the Israeli-American psychologist Daniel Kahneman, which was a gift from my son. Kahneman starts with the psychology of how we think; using both a fast, intuitive and emotional system, and a slower, more deliberate and logical system. He then transitions into how we apply that thinking in business and economics. It’s a fascinating, yet sobering account of how we can be very selective in the information that we use to make decisions — which can often lead to expensive and unintended actions."
