"For some reason I avoid reading what everyone else is, or something with lots of hype. My recent eclectic mix includes: Pretty Things by Liz Goldwyn, which is also the name of her documentary about the last generation of burlesque queens; Geek Love by Katherine Dunn; and The Three Incestuous Sisters by artist and author Audrey Niffenegger. My favourite magazine is Bust, for women with something to get off their chests! I cherish books like treasure, and will spend hours in a book store (new or used) until I find something unique. I then leave them riddled around the house, and they eventually become conversation pieces with guests."
