Author, ex-wrestler Foley brings the funny in February

  • Print

AUTHOR and newly minted WWE hall of famer Mick Foley has hung up his wrestling boots and picked up the comedians' microphone.

And that career transition will bring him to Winnipeg's Park Theatre on Feb. 19.

Foley's autobiography, Have a Nice Day: A Tale of Blood and Sweatsocks, was a New York Times bestseller shortly after its release in 1999, and Foley followed it up with two more bestselling bios, Foley is Good: And the Real World is Faker than Wrestling in 2001 and The Hardcore Diaries in 2008. He has also written four children's books and two novels.

Tickets, $30 each or four for $100, went on sale Monday on the Park's website, www.parktheatervideo.com.
