Cineplex offers chance to buy advance tickets for 'The Hunger Games'
TORONTO - Cineplex Entertainment is feeding the appetite for "The Hunger Games" by offering fans the chance to buy advance tickets for the film a month before it opens.
Starting Wednesday, movie-goers can buy passes for screenings of "The Hunger Games" on the Cineplex website and at the theatre chain's box offices in Canada.
Cineplex will also offer special midnight screenings of the highly anticipated movie at 12:01 a.m. on March 23 at select theatres.
That's the day "The Hunger Games" — based on the bestselling novel by Suzanne Collins — opens in wide release.
Oscar-nominated actress Jennifer Lawrence stars in the film, about teens fighting to the death in a televised battle in post-apocalyptic world.
