"I'm currently reading (for the fifth time) Alain de Botton's incredible book The Architecture of Happiness. The title suggests that it could be a self-help book, but it is definitely about architecture. A vibrant read with light shadings of aesthetic philosophy, it addresses the virtues of architecture and, by extension, everyday objects, from high Gothic cathedrals to particularly well-made door knobs, and how people benefit by being in the presence of great design."
