On the Night Table with Lisa Dyck

Lisa Dyck

Owner of Cornell Creme in Anola

"Most recently I have read On the Fly by Wayne Tefs. I've always liked this local author. On the Fly is especially enjoyable, since it is about the Winnipeg Jets' first season from a fan's perspective. I am a big Jets fan and so is Wayne. At the moment I am enjoying Changing My Mind by Margaret Trudeau and Persuasion by Arlene Dickinson. I love autobiographies and true stories. Trudeau is honest about her bipolar disease. I think it is important that a high-profile person would write about this subject. It gives people hope. Persuasion is a good read, too. I picked it up because we are fans of the CBC show The Dragons' Den in our house."
