"I just finished The Imposter Bride by Nancy Richler. I was drawn to the novel by its element of history. The author is Canadian and the book is set mostly in Montreal. It begins in the Second World War with the main character stealing the identity of a dead girl. I was quite engrossed with it until the end of the book. I found the meeting with her mother to be terribly unsatisfying. I'm not sure what I expected, but it felt like there was so much more to say."
