Jackass star Steve-O to appear at Rumor's

  • Print

HEY! Jackass!

No, not you — this isn’t about calling anyone names; it’s merely making note of the fact that Jackass star turned standup comic Steve-O will be appearing at Rumor’s Comedy Club from Aug. 15 to 17.

Steve-O, a.k.a. Florida-trained clown Stephen Glover, gained fame when he joined producer/series creator Jeff Tremaine and writer/star Johnny Knoxville in the popular but controversial crude-prank/stunt MTV series (2000-2002) and subsequent Jackass movies.

Steve-O’s post-Jackass career has included an appearing on the ABC series Dancing With the Stars and an increased focus on standup comedy, which had been a casual hobby for the past several years. His standup act is a mix of comedy, stunts and bar tricks.

Tickets for Steve-O’s shows are $35, on sale Monday, April 29 at Rumor’s Comedy Club.
