Chris Brown and Rihanna's love is for life

Chris Brown's love with Rihanna is for "life".

The 23-year-old star - who is still on probation for assaulting the singer in 2009 - said their reconciled relationship was "meant to be" as they look towards a future together.

He told the Daily Star newspaper: "I love her and she loves me. That is what it comes down to.

"Our love is for life. We are meant to be together."

Chris claimed they were stronger than ever, and earlier in the week insisted beating the 'Stay' hitmaker was his biggest regret.

He admitted criticism from fans and the public about their reunion used to "bother" him, but now he just wants the couple to be able to carry on with their lives.

The 'Don't Wake Me Up' rapper said: "People criticise both of us but they don't know what we have.

"They don't know me. It used to bother me but it doesn't now. We have the right to make our own lives just how we want."

He recently spoke of how "happy" they are to have ended their split.

He said: "We are really happy. We are back together. She is the most beautiful girl in the world."
