Fergie feels unprepared for motherhood

Fergie feels unprepared for motherhood.

The Black Eyed Peas singer is currently expecting her first child with husband Josh Duhamel and while the couple are "thrilled" about their exciting news, the blonde beauty is relying on her maternal "instincts" to help her be a good parent.

Speaking on 'Good Morning America' today (21.03.13), Fergie said: "We're thrilled. I know that my husband told everybody what I said. My quote when we found out - 'This s**t just got real.'

"But it's true, when that moment occurs to you, there's going to be a human being growing inside of you ... it's reality. It's amazing, we're thrilled.

"I have no idea what I'm doing! I'm just going to play it by ear and see how things go, and let the natural instincts kick in."

Fergie, 37, has been feeling good during her pregnancy so far and she knows she is lucky to not be suffering from severe morning sickness.

She added: "I'm feeling great, I had a little bit [of morning sickness] in the beginning. But very little."

Josh has been gushing at every opportunity about how excited he is about becoming a father.

The 40-year-old actor said: "I'm looking forward to every little thing. I'm even looking forward to waking up at night and doing the thing every parent says you'll dread."
