Hayden Panettiere reunites with Ukrainian ex-boyfriend

Hayden Panettiere has reunited with her ex-boyfriend Wladmir Klitschko.

The 23-year-old 'Nashville' star - who split from her NFL star boyfriend of six months Scotty McKnight in December - was spotted holding hands and snuggling with the 36-year-old heavyweight boxing champion at Taco Beach Shack in Hollywood, Florida on Monday (02.18.13), who she split from in May 2011 after two years together because they could no longer cope with having a long distance relationship.

A source told USMagazine.com: "They never fell completely out of touch," explaining that the pair began spending time together shortly after the actress amicably split from Scotty.

The couple was first spotted together on January 8 partying at Zuma nightclub in Miami, Florida and the Ukrainian boxer was seen dropping her off at the airport three days later.

Hayden insisted at the time: "We've been friends for five years now. We're just good buddies. We're just friends."

Hayden was previously devastated after splitting from Wladimir because he was based in Hamburg, Germany while she lived in the US.

She said at the time: "While we decided to split, we feel great sympathy and respect for each other and will surely stay close friends."

Wladimir added: "We had a great time together. But more and more we saw how difficult it is to maintain a relationship when living on two continents. I cherish Hayden as a person and woman."
