Lily Allen's BRITs breast milk drama

Lily Allen nearly missed the BRIT Awards because of a breast milk leak.

The singer and new mum - who endured an embarrassing blunder earlier this week when she had a mammary emergency in public after forgetting to put on her nursing pads - suffered a repeat incident as she made her way to the glitzy event last night (02.20.13), severely delaying her arrival at the ceremony at London's The O2.

Lily expressed her dismay at running "very late" on Twitter after again forgetting the pads, commonly used by new mothers who breastfeed.

She tweeted: "Dear #BRITs2013 I am running v.late.

"Was en route but despite numerous reminders forgot nipple pads, had to turn around. #BRITs2013 #carryon (sic)"

After returning home to retrieve her nursing pads, the 'Smile' singer faced yet another setback after instructing her driver to take her to the BRITs' former venue, Earls Court Exhibition Centre in Kensington, rather than The O2 in Greenwich.

She wrote: "Oh according to my driver the #BRITs2013 are no longer at Earls Court, this should only delay me by another hour or so. #whoops (sic)"

The latest incident comes after Lily - who recently welcomed second daughter, Marnie Rose, with husband Sam Cooper - shared her previous leaky breast plight with followers on Tuesday (19.02.13).

The pop star - who also has a 15-month-old daughter, Ethel - said:" Left house without me nipple pads and me t**s are leaking. #coldandwet #notLOL (sic)"

Making light of her breast milk drama, the 27-year-old singer later joked she would breast feed One Direction star Harry Styles on the red carpet at the BRITs.
